📣 Since the 2000s, the University Hospital has been engaged in transforming its main site, Gabriel-Montpied, located in the heart of the St-Jacques district since 1970.
The University Hospital has launched an extensive transformation program for the Gabriel-Montpied site, beginning with the construction of GM2, which was commissioned in 2010. This was followed by major operations including asbestos removal, structural reduction, and building restructuring, leading up to the demolition of the west wing in 2018.
As part of the major GM3 project, with construction work set to begin soon, the hospital will start work on improving access to the site starting in summer 2025.
