The Estaing site, located in the République district of Clermont-Ferrand, opened its doors in March 2010.
It has a capacity of 418 full-time hospitalization beds (medicine, surgery, obstetrics) and 86 day hospitalization places, including 4 pediatric hemodialysis and apheresis stations.

Divisions of the Estaing site
The activities at the Estaing site are organized around two clinical hubs:
- Women's and Children's Hub (Pr Merlin): Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) - CECOS, Pediatric surgery, Medical genetics, Gynecology, Obstetrics, General and multidisciplinary pediatrics, Pediatric intensive care and perinatal medicine, Shared gyneco-obstetric service, Pediatric hematology and oncology, Pediatric emergency and UHCD, Victimology for children and pregnant women;
- Medical and Surgical Specialties Hub (Pr Bay): Dentistry and dental care center, Internal medicine at the Estaing site, Dermatology and skin oncology, Cell therapy and clinical hematology, Digestive and hepatobiliary surgery, Palliative care unit, Maxillofacial and plastic surgery, Hepato-gastroenterology, General oncology.
Several hubs also have activities distributed between the Gabriel-Montpied site and the Estaing site:
