The right to information

During your stay, the medical team will keep you informed about your state of health, making every effort to provide clear and understandable explanations. In this context, you will be asked to give or withhold your consent for any medical procedures or treatments to be carried out.

The University Hospital (CHU) is responsible for safeguarding this information, which may be accessed by authorized healthcare professionals either as part of your ongoing care or for general evaluations of patient health and the quality of care provided.

Additionally, certain anonymized elements of your medical record may be used for medical research or statistical purposes.

If you are being treated in one of the CHU’s certified Rare Disease Centers, a specific software system called BaMaRa (Base Maladies Rares) will be used. This system is shared by all certified centers across France and is designed to collect data specific to rare diseases. Some of your data may be reused for research purposes in a non-identifiable form, provided you do not object.
